Location: West Coast (Remote)
Work Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm PST
Compensation: $40/hr

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Associate Generalist to join our client’s remote team. This role plays a key part in supporting HR operations through managing employee requests, executing core HR processes, and collaborating across teams to enhance employee experience. Ideal candidates will bring a proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimizing HR workflows in a dynamic, globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intake and triaging of employee requests via Jira, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Execute tier 1 People Operations processes, including new hire onboarding, benefits administration, talent acquisition support, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues requiring critical thinking on undefined tier 2 processes.
  • Support interview coordination using scheduling tools like Guide, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to implement new HR processes and services.
  • Partner with People Operations Process Specialists to identify process improvements, suggest updates, and develop automations for efficiency.
  • Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects aimed at streamlining HR operations and enhancing team effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or Recruiting Coordinator roles.
  • Proven experience working with tools including Jira, Workday, Guide, Ashby/Greenhouse, Slack, and G-Suite.
  • Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce and managing high-volume HR tasks.
  • Familiarity with high-volume ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across international teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently within a global team environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a shared service HR environment with high-volume interview scheduling.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and automation tools to enhance operational workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced setting.
